Dr Norton graduated in 1995, from London University. She then attended a 5 year GP vocational training rotation to become a GP Specialist. Dr Norton has further post graduate qualifications in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics. Her special interests include; Antenatal, Children and Women’s health and preventative Complex Disease Management. Andrea has been a Medical Educator and Exam Writer for RACGP. She held a Senior Medical Officer position in paediatric outpatients with Queensland Health 2018-2019. In 2021 she worked a 6 month post at SCUH on Tuesday mornings headache clinics. She is currently not accepting new patients.
Dr Fielding graduated in 2004 and completed a vocational training program to become a GP Specialist. He enjoys the variety of medical issues general practice provides. He has a particular interest in Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Men’s health. He is passionate about general medicine and very much believes in preventative medicine. He is a medical education supervisor and senior lecturer. Guy is currently accepting new patients.
Alex is he is permanent tenanted doctor. He graduated from Bond Medical School and completed his hospital vocational training rotational posts in numerous medical sub specialties. Some of you may have met him as a student at our surgery many years ago. His special interests are in Musculo-skeletal medicine being a holistic ex physiotherapist. He enjoys the breadth of general practice with a love for cardiology and paediatrics. He likes to spend time with his new antenatal patients for a thorough pre-conception or early medical-obstetric history taking, and provide shared care and family medicine. He has a special interest in lipidology (cholesterol) and a PhD in biomechanics. When he is not working he enjoys the family life the sunshine coast has to offer. His billing policy may differ from the practice policy as he is an independent practitioner, please discuss this with reception. He is accepting new patients. May 2026, Alex is now providing an iron infusion service to current patient of the surgery.
Ryan grew up in Toowoomba and has been a Sunshine Coast local since 2019. He is a medical graduate of Griffith University and previously worked as a physiotherapist. He has spent several years working across a range of specialties within the SCUH including Urology and Respiratory Medicine.
Ryan enjoys the broad scope of general practice, with particular interests in men’s health and musculoskeletal medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, renovating his home, and waterskiing.
Dr Crighton is Bulk Billing for children until 24 months of age. He is accepting new patients.
We are registered with a number of Universities in Australia to host 1st to 4th (final) year Medical Students. The aim is for the student to gain experience in all aspects of General Practice. We also are part of the Griffith Longitudinal program, where the same student return to us each year of their medical degree.
Our Medical Students come from reputable Australian Universities including UQ & Griffith University, Bond university. James Cook University organises our Registrar Training.
Consent will be verbally requested from all patients for the student to observe Consultations.
