We operate an appointment system but reserve limited vacancies for urgent cases on the day. Consultations require 15 minutes. If you feel you need a longer appointment, please advise reception when making the appointment.
Appointments can be made via our website plugin to Health Engine online booking system or please phone Reception Ph 07 5441 6093 – for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies and infants will always be given priority and or reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any delay or if the GP has been called away on an emergency. Longer consultations are available so please ask our receptionist if you require extra time. Walk in patients – the next available appointment will be offered.
Emergency and acute medical conditions will be given priority. The doctor may discuss whether a home visit is required for existing patients.
Please see the reception staff and present a valid Medicare Card, DVA Card and current Pension or Health Care Card – If it’s your first visit, please bring Photo ID.
Please advise reception of any change of address or personal details. You will be advised of any possible delays.
From 25 April 2022 all patients to the practice will incur a gap fee with all doctors. We bulk bill children under 24months old. We bulk bill government immunisations and health assessments. Our fees are $102 (59.15 gap, $42.85 rebate) for a standard consultation and $188 (105.10gap, $82.90 rebate) for a long consultation with the relative Medicare rebate owing. These are AMA recommended fees, increased November 2024 in line with inflation CPI. We have Medicare Easy Claim facilities, so can directly re-emberse your Medicare rebate to your Medicare registered bank account. Reception can help advise your family on registering for the Medicare safety net which limits you family total medical annual out of pocket expenses
This fee is payable at time of consultation, accounts will not be issued. We accept payment by Cash or EFTPOS. Workers compensation fees – first visit are the responsibility of the patient.
If you have any concerns regarding billing, please discuss with reception. Some investigations and all procedures will incur a private fee.
We would appreciate it if you would advise us if you cannot attend your appointment. We have people on waitlists who would be happy to fill your slot. If you do not attend an appointment and fail to notify us, a private fee may be charged.
